The Autumn leaves start changing colour in Osaka later than where I live in Saitama. However, the year these were taken, 6 years ago, the autumn leaves changed colour earlier than usual. These photos were taken in the last week of October. The inside of the castle has to be one of the biggest disappointments on my travels within Japan to date. They have modernised it to the point that you don’t feel like you are inside a castle and little remains of the original interior. THankfully, the outside of the castle and the surrounding gardens make up for that let down.
