Book reading festival | KAWAGUCHI

There are stage events and a number of different booths including ones with authors available for book signing. They also have crafts and workshops. There is an English corner too with games and songs in English.
Some of the featured books with booths:
100 Man Kai Ikita Neko – roughly translated as “The cat who lived a million times” is a popular and best selling children’s books. Goods by the author will be on display at the event.

Nabebukyou – goods on sale for 500 yen.
Kyou no oyatsu ha nan darou na? roughly “I wonder what today’s snack is” will have a charity postcard booth.
Spaghetti no bouken – for people that buy the book on site, an artist will draw a picture inside of what your child’s current dream is; for example to become a singer, fireman, astronaut etc
Torikae-chan – make a picture book event limited to 10 people and costing a 1000 yen
Suitsu koneko – roughly “The Sweets Kitten” will have a booth selling related merchandise
