Easter event: Egg painting at Saitama Children’s Zoo
April 13, 2019 @ 13:00 - 14:00Yen400
Easter egg painting event at the Saitama Children’s Zoo.
For many years the Saitama Children’s Zoo was the only place in the Western Saitama area that had Easter events. They used to have an egg hunt event. They stopped it and other easter events about seven years ago. However, this year they are bringing back one of the Easter events: egg painting.
Even when they stopped the Easter events, they used to still put up Easter decorations, particularly around the Peter Rabbit and squirrel park and playground. Last year, they were doing some work on the area so they didn’t have decorations up. It remains to be seen if they will put them up this year. You can read more about Easter at the Saitama Children’s Zoo here.
The egg painting event costs 400 yen per person on top of the usual zoo entrance fee. It is held in the “Mori No Kyoshitsu” which is the building opposite the splash pool. It is on from 1 pm to about 2 pm. The event is limited to the first 30 people. When you arrive at the zoo the ticket desk will have more information on how to participate.
