Eco and family day at Sakura Environmental Center

During Golden Week the Sakura Environmental center is having a family friendly eco fortnight! The event will be on from Saturday April 27th until Bank Holiday Monday May 6th, except for Tuesday April 30th when the center is closed. The event is on when the center is open, which is from 9 am to 5 pm, except on May 6th when the event will finish at 3 pm.

There are several eco exhibits and eco friendly events, such as making things out of cardboard, in the Sakura environmental center during the period. And on children’s day, Sunday May 5th, they will also have a free showing of a 30 minute movie at four different times: 11 am, 1 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm.

The nearest station to the Sakura Environmental Center is Nishi Urawa station on the Musashino Line. It is about a 15 minute walk.

The center is relatively close to the Shin Omiya bypass. Parking available for 200 cars.
