Halloween Night Party @ Tobu Zoo | MIYASHIRO
October 27, 2018 @ 15:00 - October 28, 2018 @ 20:00
Tobu Zoo Halloween 2018 – On the nights of October 27th and 28th Tobu Zoo is holding its annual Halloween Night party with lots of different events.
Until 2016 children aged between 3 and 6 years old who come in costume were permitted for free. Since last year, 2017, it seems to be anyone who arrives after 3 pm in costume will get into the hybrid park for free. You have to be in proper costume though; a halloween hat will not suffice! They stipulate that the costume must have a minimum of two pieces. They have the rest of the conditions on their website.
Tobu Zoo will start their light up on the 28th this year. It is only available on weekends, bank holidays and a couple of other special dates. You can witness the winter illumination, Kanto’s largest, from around 5 pm and it will run until closing time, which is extended to 8 pm during the illumination and Halloween season. From December 23rd to 25th the illumination and the zoo run until 9 pm. The winter illumination will run until February.
Tobu Zoo Halloween Starlight Zoo parade
As part of their Halloween programme they usually have a Starlight Zoo Parade (Halloween version) from 6.30 pm on both the Saturday and Sunday. The information hasn’t been added to their site yet, so it has not been confirmed for 2018 quite yet.
What they have confirmed is their Winter Illumination for 2018:
During October they usually have other Halloween events too, although no information is currently available from the official source.
