Happy Halloween @ Saitama Children’s Zoo | HIGASHIMATSUYAMA
October 1 @ 09:30 - October 31 @ 17:00Free
Halloween Saitama – For the month of October, on the days the zoo is open (generally Tuesday to Sunday) the Children’s Castle at the Saitama Children’s Animal Nature Park (Children’s Zoo) will be transformed into a Halloween castle. During this period they have a Halloween version of the orchestra that plays in the talking tree attraction. They also have Halloween colouring. All though it is not advertised, they usually give a sweet in exchange for one picture coloured.
Currently (August 19th 2019) the official zoo website has not added the Halloween information, but the Saitama Prefectural website did on August 1st 2019. It currently only confirms the Halloween colouring event, but other events will be added in due course.
On dates to be confirmed they will have a free card making event. (You need to pay into the zoo and the children’s castle.) They will make pop up animal cards with the kids.
On a date yet to be confirmed there will be two Pumpkin Carving events; one at 11 am and one at 2 pm. This event costs 1,000 yen per person. You need to book by the middle of October by a postcard application to participate. More information to come as it is confirmed.
