Spring Outdoor Park @ Shinrin Park | NAMEGAWA

Shinrin Park Namegawa Annual Spring Event – Every year Shinrin park hold two Outdoor Park events: one in Autumn and one in Spring. The autumn event is the main one with lots of stage performances and special events, but the spring one is mainly an activity area for children beside Japan’s largest air trampoline.
Spring Outdoor Park Hours and details
The Spring “Outdoor park” is longer than the Autumn one which is usually just two days. In Spring it is held during Golden weeks over 4 days. This year from May 3rd to May 6th. It is on from 10 am to 4 pm. This event will be cancelled if it is raining.
There are different events on different days, but the activity zone is open each day. The activity zone will be beside the park’s famous air mountain trampoline. It is where the air slide, bungee swing and water balls are. Entrance costs 1000 yen and it is for children from 2 years old. However, the water ball activity is from 4 years old.
Apart from the activity zone you can also enjoy other events such as treeing on the 5th and 6th. There is a cafe area and a coffee event running on the 4th and 5th. During the time this festival is on the water play areas at the West gate will also be open. More information;
SHINRIN PARK ACCESS AND FURTHER DETAILS
Shinrin Park is what the locals call it, but the official name is Musashi-kyuryo National Park. The nearest entrance to this event is the South Gate.

Get off at Shinrin-koen Station on the Tobu Tojo Line, and there is a bus stop and taxi stand at the North Exit. It is approx. a 3 km (approx. 40 min.) walk to the Shinrin Park’s South Gate.
Bus: To Shinrin Park South Exit (Running on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays only), Get on the direct bus to Shinrin-koen,and get off at the last stop
To Kumagaya Sta. South Exit and To Rissho Daigaku, for South gate get off at Namerikawa Chugakko, and walk approx. 5 min. For West Gate, Get off at Shinrin-koen West Ent., and it is directly before you
