Mini Steam Locomotive through Plum Blossoms | OGOSE

Plum Blossoms Ogose – The Ogose Bairin Plum Tree Festival in Ogose Town, Saitama is considered one of the three big plum blossom festivals in the Kanto region. This year (2018) it will run from February 17th until March 21st. Early March is generally considered the best time to see the blossoms.
In previous years the plum grove opened until 5 pm, but this year it will only open until 4 pm.
For the duration of the festival a mini steam locomotive will run through the plum blossoms, on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays only. You can ride the steam locomotive between the hours of 10.30 am and 3 pm.
