Bandai Namco have a number of different travelling play centers. The Namco in Stellar Town are one of the hosts of Bandai’s rotating play centers. This year they have already had the Tamagotchi play center, the Taiko Athletic or Taiko No Tatsujin as it is called in Japanese and the ultra popular Ultraman pop up play center. The latter was from May 11th to the end of August. It was replaced by the current pop up: a Precure Play center
Normally they close for a week to switch the play centers out, but this time the Precure aka Pretty Cure aka Glitter force pop up play area opened straight away. It might be, because it is so small this time. It is only about the equivalent of a 10 or 12 tatami mat room! It has been running since September 1st and will remain open until Sunday the 21st of October.
Stellar Town is open from 10 am to 9 pm, but the Precure play area closes at 6 pm,
which is earlier than their previous pop ups that usually stay open until 7.30 pm. It is for children from 0 to 8 years old.
Children 9 or older are not allowed play.
Mini dance special and handshake event
During the period that the Precure play center is open, there will be a mini dance special and handshake event on three dates. Each date the event will take place three times. This costs an additional fee on top of the base fee. The dates are September 15th, 29th and October 13th. The times are 11.30 am, 1 pm and 3.30 pm.
Precure Play Center Cost
There are few different packages, but generally it costs upwards of 600 yen. 600 yen gets you 30 minutes in the play area where kids can dress up as much as they like. However, the actual play equipment is in the FuwaFuwa area and that costs 300 yen for 20 minutes. In the case of Namco in Stellar Town the FuwaFuwa area is only one piece of equipment:
a small inflated castle with balls 😲！ You can get a studio package for 900 yen that allows an hour play in both the dress up area and the FuwaFuwa area. They only charge for children, adults are free in. Children younger than two are also free in.
