There is a children’s mikoshi at this festival too. They are looking for children to participate: anyone is welcome. Children can wear whatever they want, but they ask that you avoid wearing skirts. Most children come in festival wear. If you are interested, you can contact the organizer on the number posted below. It would also seem that you can just ask to participate on the day if you arrive early. The area is open from 1.45 pm.
