June 24 @ 08:00 - July 31 @ 17:00Free
Saitama Drone Challenge 2019
The Saitama Drone CHallenge is a Saitama-wide FREE drone racing and programming event for children in elementary school grades three to six. It is organised by Smile Me who aim to make programming accessible to all children. The drone event is sponsored by the Saitama Prefectural Board of Education.
Applications to participate must be submitted by Wednesday July 31st 2019 through LINE. (The initial flyers said July 21st, but the official website says it is July 31st). Anyone who fits the requirements (living in Saitama and 3rd to 6th grade student) can apply, but they are encouraging children to participate in pairs. That can be siblings or friends. They do stress it is okay for one child to apply on their own too.
