Santa at Ofuro Cafe Bivouac | KUMAGAYA
December 23, 2017 @ 13:00 - December 24, 2017 @ 15:30Santa is free, but you have to pay into the baths / spa
Santa Kumagaya – You can visit Santa Claus in Kumagaya in the most unlikely of places: an ofuro (Bath house)!
Ofuro Cafe Bivouac opened in Autumn 2016. I posted about it at the time on Saitama With Kids Facebook page. I was excited about the fact that it has a climbing wall and a “glamping” feel interior. So I was very disappointed when I contacted them for further information and they told me that children under seven were not welcome, that it was more of an adult’s onsen.
Evidently, they realised their fatal error in designing an adults only onsen and before they even had their year anniversary they underwent a “renewal” of both their premises and their policies. Cafe Bivouac in Kumagaya now not only allows children in, they have even opened a play centre for them! Moreover, this holiday season they have a Santa Claus visiting. They also have Santa room wear you can borrow in the spa.
Cafe Bivouac Santa Kumagaya
Santa Claus will visit Cafe Bivouac in Kumagaya every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday until Christmas day. He is scheduled to visit twice in the afternoon on those days; at 1 pm and 3 pm. He will be at the Okibi area on the first floor. The Santa at Cafe Bivouac will be giving out sweets.
