Seibu Amusement Park Fireworks | TOKOROZAWA

Seibu Fireworks – The Seibu Amusement park fireworks start at the end of July until Obon period, on weekends only. This is the shortest period of fireworks for Seibu Amusement park in recent years. They normally have at least four weekends of fireworks, this year its only three.
You can enjoy the Seibu fireworks as a paying customer of the amusement park. They start around 7.45 pm. The beer garden will also be open at this time.
- July Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th
- August Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th
- August Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th
Although the shows are usually only 20 minutes each, they are very popular attracting about 100,000 people in total. They launch from three different locations at the same time. About 2,000 fireworks are launched in all.
The park can be very crowded during August and the beer garden becomes particularly crowded after the fireworks are over. The beer garden closes at 8.45 pm.
There are only a few festival stalls, but there is also a restaurant and BBQ site and catering booths open during the period.
It costs 1,200 yen to enter the park for just the fireworks or you can pay for additional features also.
Seibu Fireworks Access
Train: Minutes walk from Seibu Yuuenchi station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. Car: 10 kilometres or 20 minutes drive from the Iruma Interchange of the Ken-o highway. Map in the grey details section at the very bottom of the post.
