This year the celebrated Shibazakura Matsuri of Chichibu, in Hitsujiyama Park, will be held from Friday April 17th to Wednesday May 6th. The moss phlox should be in bloom during the whole period with prime viewing possibly falling the last few days of April. The park is open and as per normal they will charge into the park for the period that the moss phlox (shibazakura) is in bloom.
