Spring Festival in Kazo Hanasaki Park | KAZO

Hanasaki Park Spring Festival –
Kazo Hanasaki water Park Spring Festival is aimed at children and they have lots for them to enjoy. The park is popular all year round, but particularly in the summer due to its outdoor pools, which open from mid-July to August. They also have a wading river and BBQ during the summer. They have a great collection of unusual bikes for hire all year round.
In the above flyer, if you can read the section called attractions, it lists most of the attractions available in the park even when the festival isn’t on; such as the bike rental, and battery cars, swan boats and more.
The park entry and parking is free except when the pools are open.
Hanasaki Park Spring Festival
Apart from events and activities for the children, they have food stalls serving Udon, onigiri, sweets, fruit and vegetables.
The park is known for its great collection of bikes, pedal and push cars, including pedal cars that a family can ride together. At the festival they will have a unicycle workshop. The park also has fishing in the winter, spring and summer, and they will also have it available for both of the festival days.
On the 10th there will be a number of emergency services vehicles on display and a stand with information and activities for the kids.
On the 11th they will have a petting corner.
On both days of the spring festival there are live stage performances.
Hanasaki Park Spring Festival Access
Train: About a 15 minute walk from Tobu Isesaki Line Hanasaki Station
Car: Approximately 3 kilometers from Kazo Interchange of the ken-o expressway.
Parking: Free for the festivals and out of pool season, but once the pool opens it costs 820 yen for the day. Spaces for up to 1,200 cars. Between April and September the car park is open from 8am to 6.30pm. From October to March it closes at 5.30pm.
