The 2020 Kitamoto Cherry Blossom Festival at Takao Sakura Park has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns.

Kitamoto Sakura Matsuri Kitamoto children's park and Takao Sakura Park

The Cherry Blossom Festival at Takao Sakura Park in Kitamoto is popular among locals during the cherry blossom season. There are about 200 cherry blossom trees of 30 different varieties.  Please note there is no playground equipment in this park.

There are food stalls available at the cherry blossom festival and they have local gourmet as well as festival food.

There will be live stage performances. They usually have a taiko performance. Last year they had an “experience corner” for kids and a bingo competition too.
