Ochanomizu Santa, Tokyo – For the 11th year in a row, St Clair in Ochanomizu is one of the first places that the real Santa will visit. It is not only one of the longest running Finland Santa’s in Tokyo, but also one of the most popular. People queue for hours for the chance to meet Santa who has flown all the way from Lapland.

Tickets for the meet and greet are distributed from 11 am, but please note people queue from early morning to get a ticket. Tickets are restricted to the first 120 families in line.
It is a free event and those that get a ticket will get a sweet too. Santa starts meeting and greeting around 12.50 pm and finishes up around 2 pm. There is a live performance directly before and after his appearance.
Each year they hold a number of different events in conjunction with Santa’s visit such as the live music mentioned above. There is also a Christmas Fancy Dress competition and the winner will receive their present from Santa. They are running Christmas related workshops on the day too. There is also night illumination.
