Where can I visit Santa in CHIBA?
Santa in Chiba – Last year Santa Claus arrived into Narita airport on November 25th, but as I write this also on November 25th he still hasn’t arrived for 2017! White Santa is here though. And Santa’s meet and greet locations for after he arrives have already been scheduled. You will find twenty locations in Chiba with a scheduled Santa below. These are meet and greets that have been confirmed. Others that have yet to confirm will be added by midnight on December 1st. The MyMap is located at the bottom of the article with all the Santa Claus meet and greet locations marked.
Please do note that Santa visits here are a lot more simple than in other countries. There is generally no grotto, no presents and no professional photographer. You can take a photo, but with your own camera. Also, events by their very nature are tentative and subject to change, so please do check with the official site closer to the time to make sure there have been no changes. If an event has been cancelled it will say 「中止」in Japanese. 「変更」might indicate a change in time or date or even a change in the conditions for meeting Santa.
Where you see the mention of a “Lapland / Finland Santa” means that it is the Santa that flies into Japan every year with Finnair. (Or a variation of him!) 🙂 If you are looking for where you can visit Santa in Tokyo, that will also featured on this blog: coming soon.
Please feel free to share this information around. insaitama.com is a free and not-for-profit blog sharing information for those who don’t read Japanese.
