This is part of  Sandy (of Scribbles and Musings) #FavFotoFriday challenge. I am not a photographer, nor am I aspiring to be one. I just like taking photos. 🙂

The #FavFotoFriday is a WordPress Daily Post approved challenge. It’s simple; pick a favourite photo you took in the last week, share it, pingback to Sandy and use the tag.

I knew when I was taking this photo that it would be my favourite photo for this week.  It was taken yesterday, Thursday morning Japan time, when we broke up a cycle at a playground on temple grounds. The leaves are starting to change colour, everything looks so beautiful in Autumnal colours.

For those in the Northern Hemisphere – are you seeing any changes in the trees at the moment? Please do comment, if you have the time.

Thanks for joining in our Friday fun.

Autumn leaves in Saitama

  1. Yes, here In Rhode Island the leaves are changing color and falling to the ground. Thursday I opened my kitchen door and a whole oak tree had fallen on my shed, leaves and all.( I love the temple photo, too)

    1. Thank you so much Claremary.

A whole oak tree – woah! I hope everyone was ok. I guess the shed isn’t though?

  2. The colours are indeed beautiful. I’m not so impressed with our autumn, mainly because it is quite drab. Lots of rain and mist. But when it’s sunny the oranges and reds do look resplendent on the trees 🙂

    1. I bet your garden looks beautiful all year round. It certainly looks that way from your blog. We are lucky with the weather and the foliage here in Autumn. It’s raining today, but its dry more often than not. Did you have a nice Halloween? They really celebrate it here these days, which is great for me and the kids. However, I miss bonfires. Do you do Guy Fawkes night?

  3. Very pretty photo!! Fall is a favorite time of year for me 🙂 I love all the seasons but spring and fall are my favs! Thanks for participating in FavFotoFriday!
