For the first time in four years Chichibu Muse Park plan to open their outdoor summer pool in 2023. 4年間ぶり。

Chichibu is a great destination during the summer months, as it is that bit cooler than flatland Saitama. Moreover, there are dozens of summer activities in the area. The outdoor pools, at the vast Chichibu Muse Park, are located in the Sports Forest. The Sports Forest itself has lots of activities for children and adults alike, such as trampoline, buggy trek, laser tag and go karting, to name bu a few. In addition, on the opposite side of the road, there is a ‘forest adventure’ treetop athletic!
The pools are beside the club house, which has some coin operated rides and games for children. They also sell some food and there are tables and chairs indoors – if you need to get out of the sun. Please note that the wave pool is out of order, but you can still use the pool sans waves! 波のプールは故障中です。けれでも流れるプールに加え、子ども用・イベント用プールを設置して営業する予定そうです。

Event: seasonal outdoor pool at Chichibu Muse Park 秩父ミュース公園屋外プール
Date: from Saturday July 22nd to Sunday August 27th 2023.
Time: from 9.30 am to 5 pm.
Cost: 1,200 yen for a full day ticket, 600 yen after 2 pm, for adults. 600 yen for a full day ticket for children or 300 yen after 2 pm. Parking costs 500 yen.

Access
The Sports Forest is south west of the park. It is near the PICA Chichibu campsite. There is a dedicated parking lot for the pools. It costs 500 yen for the day.
