Official event cancellation on the Koshigaya Sightseeing website.

They also have a note on the website that all events until April in Koshigaya have been cancelled including the upcoming plum blossom festival. Please do check with each individual event’s official site for any last minute changes. It is unlikely that a cancelled event will be scheduled yet. Likewise, please note the current ban on events may extend for a longer period. We just don’t know yet.

The festival is along the two kilometers of the Motoara River from Kita Koshigaya Dai Go Park to Osawa Bridge where there are 350 cherry blossom trees.
