Cocoon City Christmas Market | OMIYA
December 21, 2019 @ 11:00 - December 22, 2019 @ 21:00Free
Cocoon City is officially part of Saitama Shintoshin, but they are independently run. Which might explain why, (although there is a large Christmas market in Shintoshin), Cocoon City also host a Christmas market. It is not as big as the one in Shintoshin and it only runs for a few days, but it adds to the Christmas feel in the area and adds to the many festive events on offer.
In previous years the market was always on for at least three days, but this year it is only available for two days according to the current information on their website. It could prove to be an error, but it will remain to be seen.
The market is open from 11 am to 9 pm. Like a lot of the Christmas events, it is being held in Cocoon 2. It sells Christmas goods and you can buy food and drink too.
Date: from Saturday December 21st to Sunday December 22nd
Time: 11 am to 9 pm
Location: Cocoon 2 in the Cocoon Hiroba
Access Cocoon City
Cocoon city is a minute walk from JR Saitama shintoshin Station and about an 8 minute walk from JR Kitayono Station.
By car: parking is available. Cocoon City is open from 10 am to 9 pm, but the cinema opens longer and the parking reflects that. It is open 9.00 am to 1.00 am. 200 yen for 30 minutes, but if you have a Cocoon card or if you spend more than a 1000 yen in one shop you get one hour free parking. If you use the cinema you get 3 hours free parking.
