CANCELLED Odako Fireworks | KASUKABE

There will be no Odako Fireworks Kasukabe in 2020.
Approximately 320 starmines and 50 smaller fireworks are launched annually at the Odako Fireworks. (As in Odako of the famous kite festival in the same city). The fireworks are the finale to the traditional summer festival that starts around 3.30 pm.
This year the fireworks will be launched on Saturday August the 31st. In the event of rain it will be postponed until Sunday September 1st. Please see the official website, linked in text below and in the grey details box below, for any changes or last minute weather updates.
Despite being a relatively small fireworks display lasting only 30 to 40 minutes, the event attracts about 20,000 spectators as people come for the festival too.
Access Odako Fireworks
The fireworks spectation area are about a 20 minute walk from Tobu Urban Park’s Minami Sakurai Station. You can get a bus from the North exit of the station bound for Aeon Mall Kasukabe and alight at 「庄和高校」(Showa High School).
There is no official parking lot, but there are a limited number of public parking spots available away from the firework site.
