Outdoor Park Hours and details
The Spring “Outdoor park” is longer than the Autumn one which is usually just two days. In Spring it is normally held over 4 days of Golden Week.
However, this year, in line with the nationwide extended Golden Week celebrations for the Emperor’s ascension, Shinrin Park is having a longer than usual Outdoor Park. This year the Spring Outdoor Park is from Saturday April 27th to public holiday Monday May 6th.
The hours are also longer than normal: starting at 9.30 am until 4 pm. This event will be cancelled if it is raining.
There are different events on different days, but the activity zone is open each day. The activity zone is usually beside the park’s famous air mountain trampoline. It is where the air slide, bungee swing and water balls are. Each activity costs about a 1000 yen. It is for children from 2 years old. However, the water ball activity is from 4 years old.
Apart from the activity zone you can also enjoy other events such as treeing . There is usually a cafe area and a coffee event running.
During this period the water play area will also be open. Further information here.
