Outdoor Park (Autumn) @ Shinrin Park | NAMEGAWA

Shinrin Park Namegawa Bi-annual Event – Every year Shinrin park hold two Outdoor Park events: one in Autumn and one in Spring. The autumn event is normally the main one with lots of stage performances and special events, but the spring one is generally longer.
Outdoor Park Hours and details
The Spring “Outdoor park” is longer than the Autumn one which is usually just two days. In Spring it is normally held over 4 days of Golden Week.
The Autumn Outdoor park is normally just one weekend in early November. In 2020, that is Saturday November 7th and Sunday November 8th from 10 am to 4 pm.
This event will be cancelled if it is raining.
The autumn event coincides with the last weekend of the popular Halloween Illumination Halloween Night in the Forest. Since last year the autumn leaves light up has even more attractions for kids and more features than in previous years.
Outdoor Park line up
There are different events on different days, but the activity zone is open each day. The activity zone is usually beside the park’s famous air mountain trampoline. It is where the air slide, bungee swing and water balls are. Each activity costs about a 1000 yen. It is for children from 2 years old. However, the water ball activity is from 4 years old.
Apart from the activity zone you can also enjoy other events such as treeing . There is usually a cafe area and a coffee event running.
SHINRIN PARK ACCESS AND FURTHER DETAILS
Shinrin Park is what the locals call it, but the official name is Musashi-kyuryo National Park. The nearest entrances to this event are the West and Central Gates.

Tobu Tojo Line from Ikebukuro Station
From Shinrin-koen Station on the Tobu Tojo Line
Get off at Shinrin-koen Station on the Tobu Tojo Line, and there is a bus stop and taxi stand at the North Exit. It is approx. a 3 km (approx. 40 min.) walk to the Shinrin Park’s South Gate.
Bus: To Shinrin Park South Exit (Running on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays only), Get on the direct bus to Shinrin-koen,and get off at the last stop
To Kumagaya Sta. South Exit and To Rissho Daigaku, for South gate get off at Namerikawa Chugakko, and walk approx. 5 min. For West Gate, Get off at Shinrin-koen West Ent., and it is directly before you

Get off at Kumagaya Station on the JR Takasaki Line, and there is a bus stop at the South Exit.
