Yono Rose Festival, 10 year anniversary – For the last ten years Saitama City have held a rose festival in Yono. This year, 2019, it will be on Saturday May 18th and Sunday May 19th.

There will be live music and dance performances for this two day rose festival in Yono Park, Saitama City.  There are also guided tours on both days. The event will be cancelled if it is raining.

The rose festival in Yono Park may be cancelled in the event of rain.

Guided tours

The times of the guided tours for 2019 have not yet been decided. In 2018 they were: 10 am to 11 am, 12.30 to 1.30 pm and 2 to 3 pm on the Saturday. On Sunday the times were 11 am to midday and 1 pm to 2 pm.

Last year, 2018, there was also other events in Yono Park the same week such as a Candle Art Night on the Friday night from 7 to 8.30 pm.

Rose Festival Access

The rose garden in Yono Park is a 15 minute walk from Yono Honmachi station on the JR Saikyo Line.
