Seibu Summer Pools in 2020

July 4, 2020 @ 08:00 - August 30, 2020 @ 17:00

Seibu Pools Shirakobato Park Festival

Seibu opened their water park on Saturday the 4th of July. As most other outdoor pools have been cancelled this year, there was a chance that the Seibuen pools would not open, but they only announced last minute that they would go ahead with the popular attraction this summer. A few days before they confirmed, the Tobu Super pool announced they were opening. Seibuen and Tobu Summer pool are currently the only two aqua parks who have confirmed they will be open for business this summer.

Until July 18th and on the weekends only it is only the water park for children that is open. The whole pool area will open from Saturday July 18th for one weekend, then close again for five days before opening full time on July 23rd. It will remain open, all things being equal, until Sunday August 30th. They request that you purchase a ticket for the date you want to visit in advance.

The night pool is not running this year.

Seibu Pools General Information

Seibu pools, the summer water park at Seibu Amusement Park, open their summer pools from the first weekend in July until the first week in September. They have a night pool on select dates from the middle of July. However, in 2020 the night pool will not be on due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Seibu amusement park and its seasonal pools, beer garden and fireworks are popular with locals and as well as  people from outside the prefecture. Many commute from Tokyo and further afield too and weekends can be very crowded.
