Seibu Amusement Park Fireworks | TOKOROZAWA

Seibu Fireworks – The Seibu Amusement park fireworks and special celebrations normally start in August, but this year (2018) they are starting the last weekend in July. They are also running later this year, extending to the first weekend in September.
You can enjoy the Seibu fireworks on weekends only, from about 7.45 pm, as a paying customer of the amusement park. The beer garden will also be open at this time.

- July 28th and 29th
- August 4th and 5th
- August 11th to 15th
- August 18th and 19th
- August 25th and 26th
- September 1st and 2nd
Although the shows are usually only 20 minutes each, they are very popular attracting about 100,000 people in total. They launch from three different locations at the same time. About 2,000 fireworks are launched in all.
The park can be very crowded during August and the beer garden becomes particularly crowded after the fireworks are over. The beer garden closes at 8.45 pm.
There are only a few festival stalls, but there is also a restaurant and BBQ site and catering booths open during the period.
It costs 1,200 yen to enter the park for just the fireworks or you can pay for additional features also.
Seibu Fireworks Access
Train: Minutes walk from Seibu Yuuenchi station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. Car: 10 kilometres or 20 minutes drive from the Iruma Interchange of the Ken-o highway. Map in the grey details section at the very bottom of the post.
