The spring rose festival is held annually at the end of May to early June. In the Autumn the gardens open once again open to the public for the autumn rose festival. There is free entry to the rose gardens for the autumn roses, but for the spring rose festival there is a cover charge of 300 yen for adults.
The 2019 spring rose festival was from Friday May 17th to Sunday June 2nd and the garden was open from 9 am to 4 pm. The 2019 autumn festival is from Saturday October 19th until Thursday October 31st. The garden closes at 3 pm during the autumn rose festival.
The Rose Garden Takinoiri is in Moroyama, which is a beautiful rural area of Saitama. Moroyama, perhaps, is best known for its Yabusame. The garden was first opened in 2000, but it moved location and reopened as it is today in 2009.
