Unicus Kawagoe host several Kawagoe Farmer’s Market throughout the year, but they also host various different festivals and markets too. In this post: general information for the farmer’s market as well as information for upcoming events.
Kawagoe Farmer’s Market
Kawagoe Farmer’s Market is relatively new. It started during the pandemic and has proved very popular and hugely successful. The farmer’s market has grown from strength to strength. At the last one on December 3rd 2023, there was more than 100 stalls, all of them by Kawagoe farmer’s or business owners. At each of the farmer’s markets they offer food and drink stalls, sweet stalls and general sales. Moreover, there are also workshops. The market is held in the courtyard in front of Westa and Kawagoe Unicus.

There is currently a street piano in Unicus also. It started on October 21st. You will find the piano in front of the main entrance to Yaoko, beside a pillar. You can play it daily from 10 am to 7 pm.
Upcoming events
- On December 9th and 10th 2023 the popular Nicoful Handmade market is on from 10 am to 5 pm. There are approximately 20 booths at the December handmade market. There is also a photo booth for taking New Year photos of babies that costs 800 yen.

Access
The venue is just a few minutes walk from the West exit of JR Kawagoe station and about a five minute walk from the Tobu Tojo part of the station. In addition, Hon-Kawagoe station is about a 15 minute walk away. There is no official parking for this event. There is some charged parking at Unicus and Westa, but it is restricted on the day.
