Information for the 37rd annual Kuki Citizens Festival.
There are quite a few events on in Kuki City in the month of October each year. The Citizen’s festival is popular with the locals. Generally it is on in the middle of October. Some of the highlights of the festival include live performances, mini trains for children and a flea market.
Kuki Citizens Festival
This year, Kuki City has gone ahead with several of its large annual events, but some remain cancelled. Thankfully, the Citizens Festival (nor the cosmos festival) are one of them. In 2023, it will be on, all things equal, Sunday October 15th 2023. The festival was actually on in 2022, but it was a festival lite and it was kept quite hush hush! They hold the festival in the area around the west exit of Kuki Station. There are two stage areas, one at Kuki Station and the other at the Kuki Central Community Center.

Event: Kuki Citizens Festival 久喜市民まつり
Date: Sunday October 15th 2023. They may cancel the event, last minute, if there is bad weather. Please check the official sites, linked below, for the most up-to-date information.
Time: from 10 am to 4 pm
Cost: there is no admission fee
Venue: around the areas of the west exit of Kuki Station, Kuki Central Community Center and Saitama Risono parking lot. View Kuki Station West exit on Google Maps.
Access
There is no official parking for this event. Kuki City request that you come by public transport. The festival area is close to Kuki Station which is on the JR Utsunomiya line and the Tobu Isesaki line.
