Nolla Naguri is the latest Scandinavian themed leisure area to open in Hanno City in Saitama Prefecture. Hot on the heels of Metsa and Moominvalley park, Nolla Naguri is making full use of the Nordic vibes of the Naguri area of Hanno to promote yet another “Scandinavian living” type resort which combines nature and leisure.

The official grand opening is on Saturday August 1st 2020.
Yamasemi Cafe and Shop

The cafe and shop “Yamasemi” is actually already open. Although it did close for a while again during the Coronavirus outbreak it is now back open full time. There is terraced seating at the cafe which offer a great view of the Naguri Valley.
Kokko BBQ
They are already taking bookings for the BBQ site at Nolla. It is open from 10 am to 6 pm on weekdays. On weekends they do it by time slot. There are three different time slots:
- 10 am to noon
- 12:30 to 14:30
- 3 pm to 5 pm
There are three different menu plans for the BBQ. The basic one is 3,500 yen, medium sized is 4500 yen and the most expensive is 6000 yen. Each of the menu come with at least a salad, cheese fondue, mash potato, seasonal vegetables and at least one skewered meat.
Tent Sauna
There are eight different type of tent saunas at Nolla. They are open from 10 am to 6 pm. You can book for a group of up to four people. You can rent for either three hours at 8000 yen (for the group, not per person) or 12,000 yen for the whole day.
There is a drink stand within the complex that sells drinks, light meals and desserts for take out. They can be eaten in the tent sauna!

Events / Theme Day
Nolla Market is on twice a month – on the second and on the fourth Saturday of the month. They don’t label it as such, but it is essentially a farmer’s market. There are three different theme days at the resort:
- refresh day – outdoor music events
- sauna day – outdoor sauna
- cinema day – outdoor movies

Glamping
The glamping area is set to open on April 29th 2021. The glamping area has ten different tent areas.
