November Santa Events in 2019 for the Greater Tokyo area; Tokyo Santa, Chiba Santa, Kanagawa Santa and Saitama Santa.

For those who cannot wait until December to meet Santa Claus, we’ve got you covered! Here are some of the confirmed Santa Claus meet and greet locations for November 2019 in Tokyo, Saitama, Kanagawa and Chiba.

There are a couple of locations for November 30th mentioned here, but a separate post will follow for the weekend of November 30th and December 1st with even more Santa locations. You can also find ALL confirmed 2019 Santa locations for Christmas 2019 on the events calendar.

All of these Santa locations were confirmed with the official sources. Like all events, they are tentative by nature, please do check with the official sites for any last minute changes. This is the only English source of information for some of these Santa listed…

November Santa events in Tokyo

November 3rd, Kichijoji Station

Kichijoji station has had night illumination displays for the last 30 years. This year they will have a 6.7 meter Santa Claus illuminated house. For the occasion they have invited Santa Claus to turn on the lights on the night of the 3rd. The first 100 visitors in line will be able to meet Santa and get a photo taken with him. November 9th, Lalaport Tokyo Bay and Urban Park Lalaport

Just like last year, Santa gets his visits to the Afternoon Tea restaurants in early. Greenland Santa will visit several of the Afternoon Tea chain during the month of November.

One of the first is the branch in Lalaport Tokyo Bay from 10 am on the 9th. He will also visit Urban Park Lalaport, but in the afternoon from 2 pm. Afternoon Tea Santa events are for member’s only, but it is very easy to become a member by downloading the Afternoon Tea app.

November 30th, Pario, Machida

Santa Claus will visit the fourth floor of Pario Machida from 12.45 to 1.45 pm on November 30th. **They are already taking applications for this Santa event at the kids festival in Pario on the 30th. Reception opened on October 19th and will remain open until November 24th. **If there are too many applicants they will cut the photo taking and just have a meet and greet (handshake) session instead.


November Santa events in Saitama

November 9th, Metsa

Santa Claus will be visiting the Christmas Town in Saitama on November 9th, the one year anniversary of the opening of the Finnish park in Hanno City:

November 23rd, 24th and 30th, Ikea

Father Christmas will visit the Shinmisato branch of Ikea on Saturday November 23rd, Sunday November 24 and Saturday November 30th:


November Santa Events in Kanagawa

November 10th, Lalaport Yokohama

Another of the Afternoon Tea stores on Santa’s rounds, this time at the Lalaport in Yokohama. He will be in the Lalaport Yokohama Afternoon Tea shop from 11 am to noon. They distribute participation tickets from 10 am. Official campaign information in the Japanese language only.

November 16th, Terrace Mall Shonan

Santa will be in the Afternoon Tea in Terrace Mall Shonan from 11 am to midday. Tickets are distributed from 10 am to members only for this event. To become a member simply download the Afternoon Tea app and follow the instructions.

November 23rd and 24th, Yokohama Landmark Plaza

Santa will visit the Lego Store in the Yokohama Landmark Plaza on both Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th. Neither Lego official website nor Yokohama Landmark Plaza have specified the time of Santa’s visit. However, they do mention that as part of this event there are also Lego building activities. You can make Christmas decorations out of Lego. Official event web page here (click).

      Hi Andy, just wondering if you are getting my comments on your blog!? I notice they don’t post instantly like they used to and so I checked posts I’d commented on in October (as a sample!) and I don’t see any of my recent comments. On at least 6 posts. No worries if you just decided not to make them public, but in case you didn’t see them just mentioning as they maybe in “spam”.
