Santa Kanagawa – Thank you for your patience. At this stage, the objective is dissemination of information, so that people can find a Santa near them before its too late. I do apologize for the lack of prose! Hereafter, places you can visit Santa Claus in Kanagawa prefecture.

🎅Motomachi, Yokohama

The remaining dates for Green Santa’s 2017 season visits are December 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th. He will be walking around the shopping district. If you meet him you can request to get a photo taken with him. The times he will be in the area are: 11.30 am, 1.30 pm, 3 pm and 4.30 pm – each time for about an hour.  As you can see in the flyer, they also have a London Bus! That will be there from the 21st through to the 25th.

🎅Toys R Us Yokohama Izumi Branch

You can see Santa Claus in the Toys R Us Babies R Us in Yokohama Izumi on Saturday December 16th at 5 different times: 11.30 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm. Each time he will be available for about 30 minutes.

You can see Santa Claus in the Toys R Us in Hiratsuka on December 17th at 5 different times: 11.30 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm. Each time he will be available for about 30 minutes. Bring your own camera.

🎅Mosaic Mall

Santa Kanagawa

The Mosaic Mall, New Town, Kanagawa prefecture offer two ways to meet Santa. The first is the opportunity to receive a present from Santa, however, registration for this year has finished already. Never fear, the second way, a photo opportunity is still open to the public.  You just need to queue up at the space beside the escalator on the 4th floor on December 23rd at 11.30 am or 1.30 pm and be one of the first 50 (either time) lined up to get a photo with Santa Claus. It is a free event and you need to bring your own camera with you.

For those with a Mitsui Shopping Kids Club card this event is free. For those without a card you need receipts for purchases of more than 1000 yen for the day that you are visiting. Santa is visiting on December 23rd and 24th, three times each day: 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm. He will be at the first floor Hikari area.

Santa Claus will visit Yokohama World Porters on December 23rd, 24th and 25th.  The International Mothers in Yokohama blog already has information for this in English:

This one costs money, but it is for a full on Christmas event with Christmas dinner from 5.30 pm to 8 pm on Christmas Eve. They are still taking bookings, but there is only a total of 80 tickets, so get in there quick! They have reached capacity, but they do have a waiting list that you can add your name too. Apart from the opportunity to meet Santa, they also have gospel choir, illumination and a kids corner. It costs 4000 yen for adults, 2000 yen for children and 800 yen for children aged between 4 and 6 years old. There is no charge for children younger than 4.

Aeon Mall in Hadano do not have a proper Santa visiting, but on the 16th of December they have an Ultra Man Santa and a Santa parade.
