Fireworks 2021 at Shinrin Koen Hotel Heritage Fireworks 2021. Last year, 2020, Hotel Heritage in Kumagaya was part of the Go To campaign. As part of the campaign they had a small firework displays on four different occasions. Furthermore, they were open to the general public, for a nominal fee.

Hoanji is a 400 year old temple in Kumagaya City, Saitama. It is regarded locally as an hydrangea temple. However, it is not “thee” hydrangea temple: the most famous one is Nogoji. Nogoji’s hydrangea are off limits in 2021. Thankfully Hoan-ji is open to the public and welcomes hydrangea hunters!
