Autumn festival season is kicking off in Saitama, and one of Toda City’s most popular community celebrations is just around the corner. The 27th Kamitoda Yume Matsuri will return on Sunday September 27th, bringing a lively mix of food stalls, stage performances, family-friendly activities, including the ever-popular mini SL, and local entertainment to the area around Toda City Hall and Ushiroya Park.
Kamitoda Dream Festival
The Kamitoda Dream Festival is a family friendly festival with plenty of fun to be had! The line up includes several live performances on an open-air stage. In addition, they have a petting zoo and the aforementioned mini steam locomotives, that kids keep coming back for more! They also have balloon art for kids. Moreover, there are stalls at the festival, where you can pick up (among other things) delicious food and drinks. The festival is held in front of the city hall and at the nearby Ushiroya Park, where there is illumination in winter.

The park is about a ten minute walk from Toda Station which is on the Saikyo Line. The city hall is a short walk from the park.
