For the first time in four years, the Misato Halloween Fes will be held at Niodori Park. This Halloween event was on in 2022, but just online. It is a long running, popular Halloween event held annually in conjunction with Ikea Shin Misato and Misato Central McDonalds.
Misato Halloween Fes
A fun family day out with a Halloween costume contest, kids battle, bouncing castle, market and food trucks. Furthermore, they have a trick or treat activity – say the magic word to get a candy. In addition, there are also Halloween photo spots to take commemorative photos.
Costume Contest
You need to apply in advance to participate in the costume contest. The application period is from September 25th to October 10th. There are two categories: Horror costumes or Character costumes. Winners receive 10,000 yen, but there are also prizes for runners up. Moreover, everyone who participates will receive J:COM goods and free coupons for hamburgers and drinks that can be used at McDonald’s Misato Chuo branch!

Date: Saturday October 21st 2023, weather permitting. It usually goes ahead if there is light rain, but maybe cancelled if there is heavy rain.
Time: 11 am to 4 pm
Cost: there is no admission fee

Access
The Halloween festival is held in Niodori Park which is beside the Metropolitan Intercity Railway Company’s Tsukuba Express (Tx)’s Misato Chuo Station.
