Only in Saitama: Totoro x poppies. I have visited Totoro during the poppy season three times in total. The first two times, in previous years, they weren’t in their prime, but this week they were. So I want to get this post out pronto, as we all know flowers come and go. Quite quickly too. They were in full bloom on Wednesday so the next few days will probably be the best time to see them, despite the rain!
I didn’t have time to draft this up on the lap top, so I am publishing this from my phone. Which I haven’t done in years, because I am a typer not a texter! And for that reason too, this post is short, but its linked to a very detailed post about the location. Because while it took me three visits in May (over the years) to catch the poppies in full bloom, I have visited Totoro several times in different seasons over the years too.
