While updating the May Events Round Up, I came across information for the Kazo Flower Festival, which looks like a nice event for flower lovers. The event is on this Saturday and Sunday, so sorry its short notice. I would like to go see it for myself, but “FYI” I am currently in Europe! Hence the lack of posts, FB posts and correspondence lately. I’ll be “out of the office” until June 5th.
Kazo Flower Festival
“Two days connected by flowers.” There will be some food trucks at the venue each day. There is also a marche where they sell flowers as well as materials needed for flower arrangements. But they will also have fresh vegetables and miscellaneous handmade goods for sale at the market. In addition, they will have a flower demonstration on May 23rd from 1.30 pm. They also have various workshops over both days including workshops on how to make mini wreaths, fresh flower arrangements and succulents, among others. They will have a flower arrangement exhibition too. Moreover, they will have a huge flower frame at the venue so you can take photogenic photos!

Access: the venue is about a 30 to 35 minute walk from Yagyu Station on the Tobu Nikko line. Parking information was not provided, but there is a parking lot at the venue. However, if the event attracts a lot of visitors, it may prove difficult to secure a parking spot.
