One of Saitama’s most popular community Halloween events is celebrating a major milestone this year. クマガヤハロウィン (Kumagaya Halloween) returns in 2026 for its 10th anniversary, bringing costumes, trick-or-treating, stamp rallies and family-friendly fun to Kumagaya City. This year’s event takes place over four dates: Saturday October 24th, Sunday 25th, Friday October 30th October and Halloween itself on 31st October. Organizers are promising a bigger celebration than ever before as the event marks its tenth year.

4. Children’s Experience Festival
On 24th October, the Kodomo Taiken Matsuri (Children’s Experience Festival) will be held at the Nittoh Mall parking area event space from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event introduces children to a variety of local community activities and will also feature popular kitchen cars. Visitors arriving in costume can receive Halloween treats.
5. Arinoma Marche
One of the featured events during Kumagaya Halloween’s 10th anniversary celebrations is Arinoma Marche in Kumagaya, taking place on Sunday, 25th October, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Az Kumagaya Main Building. The event will include local vendors, a bingo tournament, a costume musical parade, and Halloween-themed activities for visitors of all ages.
